"I can't say enough positive things about Archangel Cat. We adopted Zeus about a month ago and he is amazing, as he sits on my lap purring as I type this. There are two very positive aspects of this cattery. The first is Thomas and Marissa's knowledge and service, the second is the cat!
From the moment we started interacting, Thomas and Marissa were prompt, knowledgeable, and answered all my newbie questions. They answered questions immediately both before and after Zeus arrived to our home. Leading up to his adoption, they sent photos and resources to my many questions. Since he has been home, they continue to respond to questions and updates about Zeus.
And Zeus, oh my, what a cat. Zeus is open, curious, and bold. He is confident and handles almost any situation we put him in. While I realize every cat is different and has a unique personality, Thomas and Marrisa cared for him beautifully and allowed his personality to bloom. A few examples of this cat's genius follow.
After only 2.5 weeks in our care, Zeus will sit on command, keeps off the table, and is starting to learn additional commands and requests.
Zeus is very comfortable around people. He was clearly handled often in his first home and continues to be open to new people and relaxed and comfortable in their presence. He enjoys most people picking him up and is open to having his paws touched, and anything else if he trusts the person holding him (which is most people).
On his first trip to the vet, the vet gave him some water and a treat, both of which he consumed in the exam room. The vet said she had never seen a cat do either of those things in an exam room before.
Finally, Zeus is still a kitten with a ton of kitten energy and excitement. He has never bitten or clawed anyone.
All of this to say, I don't think any cat would be so wonderful in such a short period of time without a strong start in life. He came to us with all of his best traits on display and continues to grow and surprise us each day."

"Thomas and Marissa are such wonderful people to work with. They breed the most beautiful Russian Blue. And, if my experience is anything to go by, they are incredibly kind and gentle raising the kittens until adoption.
We got our girl Indigo in November, and they were available for every little question and concern we had over the subsequent month as she got settled in. Indigo is very snuggly and friendly, and I believe that is directly because she was raised with so much love for the first few months of her life.
Indigo is also amazing with our young children - gentle and playful and more tolerant than you would ever expect of a cat.
If you need a Russian Blue for allergy purposes (like we do), or simply because they are the most beautiful cats around, don’t hesitate to use Archangel Cat!

"I really can’t say enough positive things about Archangel. This process was all very new to us. We had researched low allergen cats and really loved the personality traits of Russian Blues. Thomas and Marissa were super responsive and answered all questions we had. And I had a LOT. They gave us a timeline and eased a lot of our worries.
Once we were a go for kitten time (earlier on the timeline than first thought even!) the responsiveness was even more amazing. I was definitely a new, nervous kitten mom and all questions were answered super quick and patiently. It was so appreciated. Our kitten pick up involved air travel and we were able to chat on the phone with Thomas to iron out details. A FaceTime was offered, which I thought was great. Pick up was SO smooth and all necessary information was provided for vet care and such.
We LOVE our sweet kitten. She is smart, curious, adorable and snuggly. OH and little miss knew how to use the litter box! Magic!! You can tell she came from a home where she was loved. Our Sasha has fit right into our family. We are so glad we found Archangel and appreciate the care and love they put into their cats and their business. Thank you, Thomas & Marissa!!"

Came to Archangel Cat after being scammed for $800 from a fake breeder so naturally I was weary. Verified they were certified through TICA as a certified breeder for Russian Blues. They are a family that have done this for years and it shows. Amazing customer service and extremely knowledgeable. I purchased my new RB kitten (Loona) through them after she was born Dec 3, 2023. I received her in mid-March. I had been a cat owner for 14 years before my first and longtime companion finally passed away 2 years ago so I was looking for a new friend. Even after I received Loona, 7 months later, I have at least 4-5 times texted them for advice and help. Every time they have helped me with no hint of annoyance or apprehension.
